Description of Fused Mullite:
Fused mullite is a high-purity refractory material made by melting high-purity quartz sand and industrial alumina in an electric arc furnace at a certain ratio and then cooling it.
Fused mullite has the characteristics of well-developed needle-shaped crystals, high flexural strength, uniform expansion, good thermal shock stability, high load softening point, low high-temperature creep, high hardness, and good chemical corrosion resistance. RongSheng’s fused mullite can be customized according to customer requirements.
Application of Fused Mullite:
Fused Mullite is widely used in manufacturing many refractory products,like the low creep-rupture bricks for the hot-air stove,melting-iron groove or torpedo car,high-temperature industrial kiln,glass melting furnace,as well as in producing high-temperature saggers or shed planks,etc.
